 An oval moonstone, a faceted rectangular amethyst, and a diminutive round ruby cabochon have each been wrapped in a sterling silver bezel on this pendant, which comes with a 24-inch black silk cord. When Angie Olami Inc. began to work with jewelers in Nepal, she chose not to centralize production in a factory. Instead, family groups produce this pendant at home, passing on intergenerational skills. Families are still required to send their children to school. Angie Olami Inc. works with independent studios and families in three countries. She says, 'It's a nice side effect [of Worldstock] that in addition to supporting so many people, your customer does get some education and appreciation of the countries by enjoying the high quality and beauty of their work.'
