 A glittering, square-cut rhodolite gemstone adds an elegant touch to this unique, handcrafted ring. These rings are made in a multi-ethnic studio near Haifa, Israel. The workers include Bedouin women and Russian emigrants, trained by a master jeweler. It is an independent studio, working in partnership with the American jeweler, Angie Olami, Inc. Angie Olami is an American design business, working with independent studios and family groups in three countries. The philosophy is simple: if everyone, from producer to seller, is ethical and makes a reasonable profit, then everyone will have an incentive to work together. Angie says, 'It is a nice side effect [of Worldstock] that in addition to supporting so many people, your customer does get some education and appreciation of the countries by enjoying the high quality and beauty of their work.'
