The inner lining is tin, to ensure that the buckets are waterproof. Burmese teak is prized for its color, and even Rangoon's municipal dump is annually re-planted in teak saplings. These covered ice buckets are made from scrap teak, recovered from furniture and flooring factories. Under Minzor's supervision, each bucket is constructed with handmade tools, using the same processes that create fine oak wine barrels. Measurements are approximately 11 inches in diameter x 6.75 inches tall. This small company was formed to utilize the skills of unemployed coopers.
